NASPL PDS • July 28-31, 2025 • Omni Louisville • Hosted by the Kentucky Lottery
The NASPL Professional Development Seminar is a unique event designed to bring together lottery industry employees at all levels in a small-group, hands-on format. Workshops cover the primary disciplines in the industry; these formats allow for candid discussions and information sharing among participants and provide attendees with tangible ideas about how to take advantage of the industry's biggest opportunities and find solutions to its biggest challenges. There is no better way to promote communication within the lottery industry, provide education through real-world problem solving, hear case study presentations and experience unsurpassed networking opportunities.
The Kentucky Lottery is excited to host NASPL’s 2025 Professional Development Seminar! PDS will take place on July 28-31, 2025, here in Louisville.
Your attendance at PDS shows dedication to our industry, your lottery, and to the many good causes your lottery supports. Today it is more important than ever that we come together to share our knowledge and commitment to our beneficiaries. This year’s PDS is indeed the “Fast Track” to our collective success.
The seminar is called “Fast Track” for two reasons. First, the name describes the multiple in-depth tracks of learning that will take place over a few short days. We’ve been working hand-in-hand with NASPL staff to ensure a full slate of insightful speakers and robust presentations across all disciplines.
Second, “Fast Track” brings to mind the fastest two minutes in sports – the Kentucky Derby, which has taken place annually for over 150 years at Churchill Downs, an iconic must-see local attraction. As a lifelong Kentuckian, I can assure you that your time spent in Louisville will be a memorable one, surrounded by Kentucky bourbon, horse racing, and perhaps even a stop at the home of the Greatest – The Muhammad Ali Center. There are fantastic entertainment options just around the corner from the conference location at the Omni hotel, including, NuLu, Whiskey Row, The Louisville Slugger Museum, and The Last Refuge, a High Church of Bourbon.
We Kentuckians are proud of our traditions and our local attractions and landmarks. I hope that you can find time to take in amazing natural wonders outside of Louisville, like Mammoth Cave, Red River Gorge, or the Falls of the Ohio while you are here.
I guarantee you that your attendance at the “Fast Track” in July will be time well spent, whether you are soaking up the latest lottery industry insights or checking out the many unique attractions offered here in the Bluegrass State. We at the Kentucky Lottery sincerely hope you are as excited about PDS as we are!
